Founders Jenna Cheramie and Allison Holevoet met while earning their master's degrees in marine biology in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. After relocating to South Florida, they began hearing countless stories of frustration in the real estate market.

Driven by a shared vision to create a more personable experience for everyone involved, they founded Dear Friend Land Co. Jenna’s last name “Cheramie”, which translates to "dear friend" in French, reflects the guiding principle behind the company—every transaction is about fostering relationships, not just closing deals.
